Europe

I'm thinking of going to Europe with one of my best friends next fall, so I'm soliciting advice:

Prague
Venice
Rome
Munich
Berlin
Dublin
or Other

Thanks my friends.

Dublin is a fun place and the people are really friendly. If you choose Dublin let us know and we'll let you know about this great place to stay. It is also cheaper to fly to than anywhere else in Europe (at least for us from Boston). Budapest is another great city with great shopping and cool historical sites. Again if you go we'll tell you where to stay, shop and eat.

Go to Budapest. Why?
1. Prague- weird sounding name. Are you even sure you know what country it's in? I can never remember.
2. Venice- you could drown
3. Didn't you hear how Italy stole Ben's money?
4. I hear there's a lot of shootings there.
5. You can never tell when the Nazis are going to try and take over again.
6. If you want to see drunk Irishmen, go visit Bethany.

Rome is amazing. City of 1000 fountains which may not sound that cool but really really is. And has gelato. ;)

Course I've never been to the others so I am a bit partial.

Slovenia. All of it.
Gimmelwald, Switzerland.

That's enough.

We'll be visiting Munich this summer. The advantages seem to be museums, great beer, and easy access to visiting Dachau and Mad Ludwig's castle. It looks somewhat expensive.

I echo the Budapest idea. I'm going to bet Slovenia is a great deal at this point, though. It's becoming customer-friendly faster than the other eastern European countries, I hear, but is still cheap.

How has no one mentioned London? If you do Dublin, do what we did - ferry across to Wales and drive to London. Wales is the most beautiful country possible, and you simply can't miss London.

I would echo Budapest, too, though. Incredible city. Everything you want in a European city, except for an intelligible, or even pronounceable language.
