I don't know how you missed this. The problem already has an acronym so you know it's been around for months!
I especially like the hysterical comments which follow the article and run forever and the conclusions jumped to. We're all gonna die!!

I heard that it's actually nothing. All the bees are just at different colonies than the ones who originally freaked out, which is why the news has gone away the past month or two.
